Why do some changes take off like wildfire, and some never get going?
In particular, why do bad ideas catch on so much faster than good ideas?
We have many parents that actually tell children to play inside, because it is safer. We build multi-million dollar arenas to watch athletes, but complain about the cost of maintaining much smaller facilities where people actually swim or skate.
Perhaps we can blame our ever-present advertising. We are bombarded with the lowest common denominators of life:
sweet, easy, cheap, and fast
I question your comment regarding quality. I am not sure many people can recognize high quality life experiences any more.
