The Location
The playground will be installed in Heasley Park located at the intersections of Parkside Drive and Bearinger Road in the City of Waterloo.
The park is nestled in among trees and pathways and is an great spot to play. The playground would be used by members of the Lakeshore East
and Sunnydale Communities whose playground is currently up for replacement due to safety and vandalism issues. The playground will be a welcome
addition to other enhancements made to Heasley Park in 2007. These enhancements included: upgraded tennis courts and all new Park Identification Signage.

The Activity
Establishing a playground along with other activities such as tree planting, park and creek clean up, memorial garden clean up and mulching, yellow fish road program, and lots of other events in the afternoon.
